Secretary General of the Holy Shrine: We were keen to document the epics of the heroes of the fatwa to future generations.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar, emphasized the importance of transmitting the epics of the heroes of the fatwa of the defensive Jihad to future generations.

He added, "With the grace of God Almighty, the Encyclopedia of Defensive Jihad Fatwa was completed by the efforts of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department and the Media Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. This encyclopedia, which consists of (62) volumes, includes the heroism of the fighters who answered this fatwa and rushed to sacrifice what they have as most precious, to defend Iraq and its sanctities."
