A remote Ziyarat to the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and a virtual tour of his holy shrine (peace be upon him).

Al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production announced the launch of the Panorama of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and the opportunity to visit Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) remotely and wander around his holy sanctuary, through the al-Kafeel Global Network (the official website of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine), coinciding with the auspicious birth anniversary of the Master of Order and Advent; the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), to enable everyone to perform the Ziyarat virtually, especially that many are not able to come physically to his holy shrine due to the health condition due to the repercussions of the Corona epidemic.

The director of Al-Kafeel Center for Artistic Production, Mr. Bashir Al-Tajer, explained to Al-Kafeel network, saying: “This service was implemented in cooperation with the Information Technology and Networks Division in the Information Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and it was launched as a result of the current health condition due to the Corona epidemic, which stopped the visitors from inside and outside Iraq to come and be honored of visiting the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

He added: "The service allows the user, whether from a computer or a mobile device, to perform the Ziyarat via the attached audio file for the Ziyarat, enabling the user to roam inside the corridors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. A space has been allocated for this service on the al-Kafeel network website. This work is the first stage, and other stages will follow, to include other parts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and beyond.

Photographer of this work, Samer al-Husseini, from the Al-Kafeel Center for Art Production, added, stated: “The panorama consists of more than (250) high-resolution images, each shot pertaining to a specific part of the Holy Shrine. It has been assembled and installed at (360) degrees to allow the user to roam easily. All the images that were captured are recent using sophisticated imaging devices that are compatible with this work and its implementation."
