More than (600) processions provided their services during the Ziyarat of mid- Sha’ban.

The Department of Rituals, Processions and Hussayni Institutions in Iraq and the Islamic World of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), announced that the number of processions that participated in the rituals of the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban this year reached (620) service processions registered in the department's database, including (3) processions from outside Iraq .
This is what was confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network by the head of the aforementioned department, Haj Riyad Ni'mah Al-Salman, who added: “Not long ago, the cadres of the department documented these processions and issued guarantees and fundamental approvals for them in cooperation with the Karbala Police Directorate. Also a group of the department's staff organized these processions' work and note their commitment to the health and medical conditions that they were obligated to implement, in terms of social distancing and public safety rules that contribute to preserving the visitor's health as much as possible."
He explained: “The processions that participated in the provision of services were distributed according to a plan previously drawn up, as they were spread on the roads leading to the two holy shrines and far from their neighbors to reduce the crowds, and these processions provided food and drinks, accommodation and other service matters. In addition to medical services as a result of the repercussions of the spread of the Corona epidemic."
