Treatment of a child with a facial hematoma at the al-Kafeel Hospital.

A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced its success in treating a child suffering from a hematoma on her face.
The facial and maxillofacial surgeon at the hospital, Dr. Radwan Al-Ta'i, said: “Our medical team has succeeded in treating a child from Basra Governorate who suffers from a congenital anomaly in the facial veins (venous malformation),” indicating that: “The treatment method was without surgical intervention, but by using local injections in the affected area. "
Dr. Al-Ta'i added: “This tumor is a congenital malformation that continues to grow with age, causing a deformity in the affected area.” Pointing out that: "Its danger lies in the event of a wound in the affected area, as it causes severe bleeding with the loss of a large amount of blood, as well as causing an unacceptable appearance of the face."
