This morning, Tuesday (23rd Sha'ban 1442 AH) corresponding to (April 6, 2021), a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture toured a number of projects at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in order to review them and open horizons for cooperation and joint work between the two sides, in a way that contributes to supporting the product and the national economy.
The delegation was headed by Engineer Talib al-Kaabi, Director General of the General Company for Agricultural Supplies at the Ministry of Agriculture, accompanied by directors of the company's departments and directors of its branches in the governorates.
The delegation was accompanied on this tour by the CEO of the al-Kafeel company, Engineer Rasoul Al-Remahi, who explained to the Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “This visit is one of many visits that delegations representing government agencies and others carry out, with the aim of introducing the projects of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine and exchanging experiences. This visit included each of the Al-Waha factory for the production of fertilizers, the Khayr Al-Joud Company, the Al-Kafeel Dairy Factory, the Khairat farms of Aba Al-Fadl, in addition to the Al-Kafeel Press. The visiting delegation expressed its admiration for these projects and their modernity. Issues related to marketing matters for the products of these industrial and agricultural establishments were discussed, as well as other issues related to the agricultural and industrial aspect and how to advance with it".
Engineer Talib Al-Kaabi said in an interview with the Al-Kafeel Network: “This visit came under the direction of the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Mohamad Al-Khafaji, and included a number of agricultural and industrial projects. After our visit, we found that these projects were developed, useful and goals projects that are characterized by quality, in addition to their contribution to achieving food security and supporting the product and the national economy in Karbala in particular and in Iraq in general, in addition to its employment of manpower."
He added: "The visit was supported by prior cooperation with the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, to open new horizons in a way that serves both sides and achieves the public interest, whether in the agricultural or industrial side, and we will support these projects and congratulate those in charge of them for this achievement."
In the same context, the Director of the Equipment Branch in Nineveh Governorate, Mr. Rifat Mohamad Mustafa Al-Ta’i, expressed to the Al-Kafeel Network his happiness for the development and modernity of these projects, in addition to their quality, noting that: "He did not see such projects at this level, in both their agricultural and industrial parts, and we are very happy about what we saw, and we hope that in the coming days, such visits will be repeated.”
It is noteworthy that this tour was concluded with a visit to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after which the delegation met with the member of the Board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Mr. Mustafa Dea’ al-Din, who welcomed them and wished them that this visit would be successful, confirming also that the doors The al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine are open in front of everyone seeking to serve this country, and to benefit from its expertise in these areas.
