The al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine holds an Iftar banquet for the owners of the Hussayni processions in Karbala.

The Department of Hussayni Rituals and Processions in Iraq and the Islamic World affiliated to the two holy shrines organized an Iftar banquet for the owners of the Karbala’i Hussayni processions (parties, bodies, etc.), in the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
The head of the aforementioned department, Haj Riyadh Ni'mah Al-Salman, told Al-Kafeel Network: “Within the program of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for hosting various segments of society during the nights of the holy month, we invited the owners of the Hussayni processions in order to maintain contact with them, discuss matters that concern them, and coordinate joint work especially during the Ziyarat seasons and religious events, and deliberating issues that would provide the best services to visitors."
He added, "The department is in continuous contact throughout the year with the owners of the Hussayni processions, but there are special meetings, including the one that takes place every year in the blessed month of Ramadhan, as it is like the annual custom that our department is used to hold along with the servants of Imam al-Hussayn and of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both)".
