Preparing the first work on the level of Quranic educational films.

The University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues its preparations to announce the completion of a two-dimensional (2D) cartoon film labeled (Ahmad al-Qamar), to teach the correct reading of Surat Al-Fatihah for children and adolescents, which was implemented by the cadres of the Al-Joud Animation Center in Media Department of the Holy Shrine.

The supervisor of this project, Mr. Amru Al-Ola, told Al-Kafeel Network: “This work, which was completed and will be announced coinciding with the blessed month of Ramadhan, is the first of the works that it is hoped that we will expand it in the future, according to the plans drawn up by the unit and in line with the Qur’anic approach to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, aiming to entrench the culture of the Qur’an by following easy and simple methods, while relying on technological development, and employing it in this field."

He added, "The work is a dialogue which ideas were translated into a beautiful script by Mr. Ali Al-Khabbaz from the Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, and aims to reach the largest possible number of children. It can be broadcast on the satellite channels that wish to do so, in addition to showing it on Student delegations that visit the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine."

In the same context, the film’s art supervisor and creator, Mr. Ahmed Taleb Abdel Amir, head of the Al-Kafeel Center for Animation, explained: “The animation is to be invested in teaching Qur’anic verses in an easy artistic way, and we tried that the cartoon character created by the painter Zaid Abdul Jaleel from the Division of Childhood, to be a new character that was not seen before, and to which we have introduced a set of color and sound effects, as well as other artistic matters, so that the outcome, God willing, will be good and as we aspire to.”
