The first work on the level of Quranic educational films.

The University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine opened the (2D) cartoon film entitled (Ahmad wa al-Qamar), to teach reading Surat Al-Fatiha the correct way for children and adolescents. The cartoon film was implemented by the staff of the Al-Joud Center for Animation in cooperation with the Media Department at the Holy Shrine.

The opening ceremony was held in the afternoon of Wednesday (15th of the holy month of Ramadhan 1442 AH) corresponding to (April 28, 2021), in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and coincided with the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him).

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha as a tribute to the honorable martyrs of Iraq.

The ceremony then started by the word of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivered by the Acting Head of the Media Department in it, Professor Mushtaq Abbas Maan, who stated: “The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine set out for scientific and practical initiatives to draw an educational roadmap. Therefore, the Public Relations Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by the University and School Relations Division, under patronage of His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and the strenuous support of its secretariat in designing an educational and awareness program targeting the children, so the educational film (Ahmed wa al-Qamar) was its first production. "

He added: "The film works to teach the correct reading of the Surah Al-Fatiha. Noting that the executive partner for this work is the Reading Media Center and the Al-Joud Center for Animation, both of the Media Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. And in order to practically activate this initiative, the Baraem competition was launched, which aims to stimulate the children's motivation with prizes. "

This was followed by the speech of the Director of the National Center for the Sciences of the Qur’an, Dr. Rafi al-Amiri, who explained: “There is a great impact on teaching the Noble Qur’an, especially Surat Al-Fatiha. There are great rewards for teaching this Surah, and the scientific means for this education have varied so that the recipient can recite it properly in prayer. There are campaigns organized by the holy shrines to teach people the correct reading of this surah."

Al-Amiri added: “This Qur’anic work is one of the diverse educational methods that contribute to the correct teaching of reading Surat Al-Fatiha to the young generation to build up a solid foundation for the correct reading not only of this surah, but of all the chapters of the Holy Qur’an. ".

He concluded: “We appreciate the efforts made by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to produce this film, and we ask God Almighty that this project will have fruits that are harvested by many, and be successful and complement the rest of the Qur’anic projects. And we, in the Holy Quran Center in the Shiite Endowment, express our full readiness to cooperate with the holy shrines in such projects."

After that, a video presentation was displayed showing the most important stages and work stations that the production of this film went through, so that the conclusion was a poem by the poet Muhammad al-Yasiri which verses sang the love of the Ahl al-Bayt and the birth of Imam Hassan al-Mojtaba (Allah's prayers be upon them all).
