Al-Ameed University organizes a campaign to distribute food baskets during the month of Ramadhan.

Al-Ameed University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, organized a campaign to distribute food baskets to a number of poor and needy families during the holy month of Ramadhan, with the participation of professors, teachers, employees and students of its colleges.
This is to contribute to offering aid and assistance to this destitute segment, especially in the blessed month of Ramadhan, and to contribute to relieving their shoulders in light of the difficult circumstances in which they live.
According to Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Alaa Al-Mousawi: “This campaign is supervised by the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, as it works to spread the spirit of initiative in humanitarian and national situations to serve the people of our dear country. University professors and students rushed to contribute to this initiative, which came in line with the directives of the supreme religious authority in social solidarity, and to help families who are going through a difficult situation, especially during the blessed month of Ramadhan, which is the month of generosity and solidarity."
He added: "The campaign included a number of poor families in Karbala Governorate. The distributed baskets contained foodstuffs that most families need in this holy month."
