Hussayni service processions offer Iftar tables in Karbala.

The Hussayni service processions organize Iftar tables for visitors of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both), from the first days of the advent of the holy month.
This service is offered doubled on Friday eves, giving a model of hospitality, generosity, love and brotherhood for which the people of this holy city are known, along other processions and service bodies from outside Karbala.
The head of the Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Institutions Department of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them); Haj Riadh Ni'mah Al-Salman, explained the following to the Kafeel network: “On days of the blessed month of Ramadhan, service processions provide their services by setting up Iftar tables and distributing food to the visitors, taking from the roads and paths that the visitors take and which are determined by the department, as the starting point for this service. They set up tables before Iftar time and you see them racing to serve the fasting visitor, just as they were racing to serve the visitors during the special Ziyarat of Muharram and Arba'een."
He added, "The work of these processions is carried out according to a coordinated action plan that was implemented in agreement with the owners of the processions, whereby their whereabouts were determined in such a way as not to affect the movement of visitors."
