A surgery to remove a tumor in the knee of a 30-year-old patient at al-Kafeel Hospital.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its success in the operation of removing a tumor from the knee of a 30-year-old patient using the endoscopic technique.

A specialist in fracture and joint surgery at the hospital, Dr. Ahmad Ni'mah, said: “Our medical team succeeded in removing a tumor from the knee joint, for a 30-year-old patient, using the endoscopic technique.”

Dr. Ni'mah added, "During the operation, the entire tumor was removed, and the patient is now in good health and does not need a medical support."

Dr. Ni'mah pointed out that: "The endoscopic technique was conducted with a laparoscopic opening that does not exceed one centimeter."
