The Ziyarat by proxy was performed on behalf of more than 189471 visitors during the holy month of Ramadhan.

The Information Technology and Networks Division of the Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that the "Ziyarat by proxy" page of the al-Kafeel global network had performed the Ziyarat during the blessed month of Ramadhan on behalf of (189,471) visitors from inside and outside Iraq.

The head of the division, Mr. Haider Talib Abdul Amir, said: “The al-Kafeel Global Network has been accustomed in every ritual season, including the blessed month of Ramadhan, to present a devotional program through the Ziyarat by proxy page. And during this blessed month a program was prepared that was distinguished by its diversity, which had a clear effect on increasing the number of registrants for whom the page’s staff had the honor to perform special Ziyarat and worship acts on their behalf, and it started from the first day of the holy month, until the recommended acts of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.

He explained that: “The Sayeds Servants at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine were honored to perform most of these special devotional works in coordination with the administration of the page, with the exception of the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) in Madinah and the Ziyarat of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in Najaf that were performed by volunteers.”

He added: "There was many special Ziyarat during this holy month, which are:

- A daily Ziyarat of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon them both).

- Participating in the recited Qur’anic Khatma that the Holy Qur’an Institute organizes at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

- Performing some of the special acts for this holy month, including reading the Dua al-Iftitah and other supplications.

- Performing the special Ziyarat of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) on his birth anniversary near his holy grave in Madinah.

- Performing recommended acts related to the Holy Nights of Destiny [Qadr].

- Performing the special Ziyarat of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) on his martyrdom anniversary at his holy shrine."

He added, "This program was concluded by performing the Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both), which is specific to the night and day of Eid."

It is noteworthy that the Ziyarat by proxy service is one of the important services provided by the Al-Kafeel Global Network, and thanks to which he Ziyarat was performed on behalf of (1,168,608) visitors from different countries of the world during the past year, through its (Arabic - English - Persian - Turkish - Urdu - French - Swahili - German) sites.
