Al-Murtadha Complex: An icon of urbanism in Najaf.

Al-Murtadha (peace be upon him) intellectual complex in the Al-Najaf Governorate affiliated to the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is considered one of the intellectual and urban icons in the city of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
The complex was built on an area of (890) square meters, with seven floors, which were invested as work sites for:
The Islamic Center for Strategic Studies.
African Studies Center.
Sheikh Al-Tusi Center for the Revival of Heritage.
Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology and Skills Development.
The Prophets' Heritage Institute (peace be upon them) for electronic Hawza studies.
A modern and sophisticated central hall for holding conferences and seminars.
This building was implemented by the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, with artistic touches that combined tradition and modernity in implementation according to the latest architectural methods, from its architecture to finishing works passing through the systems that are among the most recent types of systems, such as (summon system, fire extinguishing system, camera system, communication system, gas system, and acoustic system).
The complex was established as a result of the expansion of the work assigned to the departments that currently occupy it and the large number of their branches, in addition to the fact that the place allocated to it previously was inconsistent with their development, and does not meet the current and future plans and aspirations. Therefore the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine established this building allocated to these centers in line with their expansion.
