The Cataloging and Information Systems Center intends to organize a symposium on manuscript science with local and Arab participation.

The Cataloging and Information Systems Center of the Library and Manuscripts House at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Kafeel University Library, intends to organize a scientific symposium/ Webinar on the ZOOM Cloud Meetings program, under the title: (Historical and Modern Labels Used in Manuscripts). The webinar is to be held on Thursday evening (June 3, 2021) at 9pm, Baghdad time, with the participation of researchers from inside and outside Iraq.

The Center has invited all researchers and academics who wish to participate in it.

According to the director of the center, Mr. Hassanein Al-Mousawi: “The symposium comes within a series of seminars that the center holds either directly or in cooperation with other parties, according to topics of importance and in line with the current situation in which we live, including this symposium in which each of the following will lecture:

Professor Latif Abdel Zahra, from the Manuscript Restoration Center at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

Professor Ahmad Zghayir Jalab, a biological analyst from the Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) Center for Manuscript Restoration.

Professor Warda Abdullah Al-Jaradi, Director of Administration Affairs and specialist in manuscript restoration in Yemen.

Professor Rushdia Rabie, Professor of Manuscripts, Department of Archeology Restoration, Faculty of Archeology, Cairo University.
