A symposium on education and its management in the approach of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).

The al-Ameed Educational Group affiliated with the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine organized a scientific symposium entitled: (The Administration of Education in the approach of Imam as-Sadeq, peace be upon him, during crises' time), on Monday evening (Shawwal 25, 1442 AH) corresponding to (June 7, 2021) on the Zoom meeting platform.

The symposium, which was moderated by the head of the aforementioned department, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sabih Al-Kaabi, was presented by Mr. Mohamad Abdullah Al-Mousawi, who spoke about the Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) school, its history, its heritage and how it dealt with his companions, and the most prominent educational positions in the life of the Imam (peace be upon him), in addition to a review of some sayings and hadiths that contain in their content a set of educational and moral rules with high content, and which give a realistic and objective philosophy related to the educational curriculum, and how the Imam (peace be upon him) managed the file of education within the circumstances and crises that surrounded him in his time.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sabih Al-Kaabi told Al-Kafeel Network: “We are in dire need to stand on the threshold of this infallible imam’s approach to education, as the founder of a scientific and educational school based on spiritual sublimity and psychological and behavioral integration. His (peace be upon him) educational curriculum aims to form a solid educational system based on valuable objective scientific foundations that withstand the updates produced by societies.”

He added: "Correct education, with all its systems and rules, has a positive impact on the upbringing of the individual, his behavior and his actions, and vice versa, as despite the instability that surrounded the life of the Imam (peace be upon him) during the period in which he lived, but he possessed a scientific and educational vision, from which a sound educational curriculum was born to include a number of educational goals, which made us see that the circumstances and crises in our time are similar to those existing in the era of the Imam (peace be upon him), in which ideas and behaviors that aroused the ire of those concerned with education and education were crowded and made them reconsider To get rid of them using the correct scientific and professional methods.
