Graduation of a number of memorizers of the Noble Qur’an.

The Division of Al-Kafeel Women’s Religious Schools at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine organized a graduation ceremony for a group of memorizers of the Noble Qur’an at the Fadak Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Qur’anic School, in the hall of the Siddiqa Tahira Center (peace be upon her) for activities dedicated to women.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the graduated sisters and a number of female staff of al-Kafeel religious schools.

Mrs. Bushra Al-Kinani, Head of Al-Kafeel Religious Schools Division, told Al-Kafeel Network: "Our joy with this honor is indescribable. We celebrate the sisters who have a wonderful relationship with the Book of God. This is part of the care provided by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the Department's administration to our students, in order to encourage them and motivate the rest of our students. We will support, encourage and incubate women Qur’anic competencies, to contribute to creating a Qur’anic generation that memorizes and reflects on the Book of God Almighty.”

She added, "Given the importance of the Qur'anic aspect for the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, this ceremony was attended by His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, who saluted, in a speech, the memorizers [Hafez sisters] and those in charge of their memorization, and also stressed the importance of memorizing the Holy Qur'an, giving examples from verses of the Noble Qur’an and the holy hadiths of the Prophet. He prayed so that the Qur’an be their intercessor on the Day of Judgment. His Eminence also praised the blessed efforts made by the staffs of the Qur’anic school, who taught these students who, God willing, will have a Qur’anic impact in the future. He also called on the memorizers to follow the approach of the Noble Qur’an, implement its rulings and reflect on its verses, urging the students to memorize some of the speeches of Nahj al-Balagha of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)."

Al-Kinani explained: "This ceremony also witnessed a speech by the director of the Qur'anic School, Mrs. Radhia Abdul-Hussein, in which she congratulated the female memorizers, and highlighted the status of the Hafez [memorizer] of the Holy Quran and its worldly and hereafter effects.”

And she concluded: "The ceremony included participations that included the reading of the sermon of the pious, which was delivered by one of the students, a chanting participation presented by the chanting troupe of the Fadak Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Qur'anic School, and was concluded by honoring the students."
