Successful spine surgery of a sixty-year-old patient at the al-Kafeel Hospital.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced that it had successfully performed a scoliosis correction surgery for a sixty-year-old patient.
Dr. Amer Al-Sab'ali, a specialist in spine surgery at the hospital, said: "Our medical team succeeded in correcting scoliosis (scoliosis and curvature of the spine) for a 63-year-old patient," noting that "scoliosis is 35%," and that the patient suffers from a spinal stenosis, accompanied by severe pain that made her unable to lead her life normally.
Dr. Al-Sab'ali pointed out that: "The operation took five hours, with the help of a distinguished medical team and skilled anesthesiologists, in addition to the presence of modern technologies that encouraged us to perform the operation," stressing that: "The operation was successful and the patient is now doing well."
