The launch of the fifth edition of the Defense Fatwa Conference.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched this morning, Thursday, the sixth of Dhu al-Qi'dah (1442 AH), corresponding to (June 17, 2021) in the Imam Hassan Hall (peace be upon him), the activities of the fifth edition of the Sacred Defense Fatwa Conference, under the slogan: (Media Documentation.. The Living Witness).
The opening ceremony of the conference was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its general secretary, his deputy, members of its board of directors, heads of departments and officials of its divisions, in addition to representatives of the local government in the Karbala province, religious figures, academics and security figures.
The activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter of the two holy shrines, Hayder Galukhan, then reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq, and listening to the Iraqi national anthem and then the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Pride's Tune.
This was followed by a speech by His Eminence the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and a poem of the poet Najah Al-'ersan.
Then a special film was shown on the Encyclopedia of the Holy Defense Fatwa, which was written by a team from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which came in 62 parts to talk about the fatwa of defense and its heroes, leading to victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS.
Then came a reading of the opening paper, which was marked by (Encyclopedia of Defense Fatwa, Volume Three, Study in Importance and Contents) by Prof. Dr. Miqdad Fayyad.
It is hoped that the activities of the conference and its research sessions will resume this afternoon, and continue until the conclusion, which will be at five in the afternoon, and the conference will include a poetry forum that will be held in the court of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
