More than 30 African students take part of a Qur'an course at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The Center for African Studies of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with the Institute of the Noble Qur’an of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, organized the second Imam Hassan Mujtaba (peace be upon him) course, on teaching the correct reading of the Holy Qur’an and teaching the rules of its recitation and drawing, for a group of students of Religious sciences in the continent of Africa. This course is part of the courses of the Quranic project for students of religious sciences, which implementation is supervised by the Institute’s branch in Najaf Governorate.
The course was attended by more than (30) students from different countries of the African continent, and it was held in the hall of Al-Qasim (peace be upon him) inside the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. It was presented by Professor Alaa Al-Din Al-Hamiri, a professor in the rules of recitation and its arts and the official of the recitation unit at the Institute. And it is hoped that it will last for two consecutive months, during which students receive intensive lessons in recitation rules and correct reading.
