Ebil Fedl (PBUH) First International Quran Festival hosts 10 countries

Opening ceremony
Musa El-Kadhim auditorium in the El-Abbas Holy Shrine witnessed the beginning of the Ebil Fedl (PBUH) First International Quran Festival which would last for three days.

The opening ceremony opened with reciting verses of the Noble Quran. Many delegations from Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Ghana attended the conference.

Several speeches delivered by the head of the Quran House of the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, the Secretary-General of the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, the head of the Religious Affairs Department of the El-Abbas Holy Shrine, and the head of the Shiite Endowment Office, in addition to some other figures.

It’s been mentioned that some of the features of the festival:
1. Establishing a better start in the field of Quran.
2. Instill profound relationships among the interested in Iraq and in the other countries.
3. The festival was not like the other festivals on Quran, but it invented new means to activate the Quran role.
