Al-Kafeel Printing House introduces modern and advanced fonts.

Al-Kafeel House for Printing, Publishing and Distribution has strengthened its printing production lines with modern and advanced printing fonts, which are the Web Offset Printing Machine, which has several technical characteristics. So that these lines complement the already existing ones. This step aims to keep pace with the development taking place in the printing field, and is part of the House plans aimed at reviving the phrase (printed in Iraq), as it has taken large strides in this field according to a well-studied and well-defined plan, within the approach of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aimed at supporting the national product and Iraqi competencies.

The director of the House, Engineer Firas Al-Ibrahimi stated to al-Kafeel Network: “The House is proceeding with a project of development and modernization to be one of the most modern printing presses in Iraq and the Middle East. It has advanced and modern production lines that are updated constantly, to keep pace with the development taking place in the printing field as part of our strategic plan of the Al-Kafeel Printing City in 2030.”

And he stated: “The production lines that have been added are among the latest printing fonts, and it is a form of offset printing, in which huge and high-speed machines are used, which are fed to large reels of paper to separate the pages separately and adjust them as required. This method is more effective and efficient in printing of large-sized publications and content, as it is characterized by automatic printing, folding and closing through the machine."

Al-Ibrahimi explained: “The lines are characterized by speed, accuracy and production quantity, as one line has a speed of 36 thousand sheets per hour, and another line has a speed of 30 thousand sheets of various sizes and in six colors that change according to demand, as the web presses work faster than paper presses, it is used for large format printing such as newspapers, magazines, books and catalogs."

He continued: "If you are asked to print something urgent, the offset printing technology will not provide what you want, with it you will need more time and more effort to prepare the printing machine and prepare the metal sheets before placing them in the machine, so you can rely in such a case on offset web printing lines - Web Offset Printing Machine".
