Start of the 9th Hussayni International Conference.

The activities of the Ninth International Hussayni Conference, in its second electronic version, started this afternoon, Thursday (July, 8/2021), which was held by the College of Education Ibn Rushd / University of Baghdad in cooperation with the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine represented by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs.
The conference was held virtually under the slogan: (The Hussayni Renaissance in Modern and Contemporary Arabic Poetry), with the participation of researchers from several Arab and Islamic countries.
The opening activities of the conference included a number of speeches by academic personalities, the most prominent of which was the focus on the importance of the role of Arabic poetry, with regard to the Hussayni cause, its goals and the human dimensions it has achieved.
After that, the research sessions of the conference began with more than (20) papers, in which researchers from Iraq and other countries participated.
It is noteworthy that the conference was held electronically due to the health conditions imposed by the Corona pandemic, and the difficulty of attending for the foreign participants.
