Commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Jawad in the campus of al-Kafeel University.

Al-Kafeel University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, recalled the sad memory of the martyrdom of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), by organizing a condolence council that was held in the central hall of the College of Technical Engineering.

The council witnessed the presence of the president of the university, Prof. Dr. Nawras Al-Dahan and his assistants, a number of deans of the faculties there, and a group of students and employees.

The condolence council began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dujaili, in which he shed light on the bright aspects of the life of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him), and the oppression of the ruling junta and how he was able to be patient with all that surrounded him from Horrors, while conveying the message of his forefathers and grandfather, the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon them) to the nation.

He also highlighted the Imam’s knowledge and miracles to conclude with the incident of his martyrdom (may God’s peace be upon him), that sad incident that resembles the martyrdom of his grandfather Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with some of its tragedies, like the thirst that he (peace be upon him) experienced after he was poisoned, in addition to the fact that his pure body remained for three days on the roof of his house melted by the heat of the sun.
