The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is providing clean water to four villages.

The staff of the Water Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has completed the installation of a water purification and desalination plant (RO station) in the village of Al-Bayda in the Muthanna Governorate, in addition to three other villages, to meet their need of pure and desalinated water, and to reduce the burden of their inhabitants.
The official of the Water Division, Engineer Bassam Al-Hashimi, told Al-Kafeel Network, that: "This station was installed after the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine received an appeal by the people of these villages showing their suffering as a result of the lack of potable water. The response was quick, as the staff of our division began implementing this station".
He added: "The station was built on an area of ​​(180 square meters) and has a production and storage capacity of (RO) water of 48 thousand liters / day. A productivity that can meet the needs of the residents of these villages, who number approximately (1500) people, distributed over (900) houses".
Al-Hashemi indicated that: "All parts of this system are of global origin and are highly efficient in production and desalination, and due to the scarcity of liquefaction water, we relied on feeding it on river water after completing the purification, filtering and treatment process."
