Al-Kafeel Hospital continues to succeed in cochlear implants.

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the success of a second cochlear implantation operation for a hearing-impaired patient, revealing that the hospital is making efforts to be a pioneer in these operations at the level of Iraq and the region.
The specialist in ear, nose and throat surgery at the hospital, the Lebanese doctor, Dr. Hisham Al-Moussawi, said: "Our medical team recently performed the second cochlear implant operation for a hearing-impaired patient at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital," explaining that: "the techniques available in the hospital helped us achieve success with this specific and distinctive operation."
Dr. Al-Moussawi stressed: “The medical team strives to make the al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital the leading hospital in the region with cochlear implants for the hearing-impaired, so that the Iraqi patient does not travel outside his country to perform such operations.”
Noting that: “The presence in Iraq is a support for Iraqi doctors to achieve medical successes, by investing in the available technologies at Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital in Karbala."
