El-Abbas Holy Shrine opens the Basrah Heritage Center

The El-Abbas Holy Shrine opened the the Basrah Heritage Center which is one of the greatest edifices in Basrah province.

It’s been mentioned that the center founded in order to maintain the heritage of Basrah. The opening ceremony was attended by so many scholars and academicians. The ceremony opened with reciting verses of the Noble Quran followed by a speech delivered by the Secretary-General of the El-Anbbas Holy Shrine in which he mentioned that the importance of maintaining Iraqi heritage. He also mentioned some features that Basrah has such as the great scientists and scholars.

Some others delivered speeches and a poem followed them in which they expressed their gratitude for such a wonderful initiative for the public interest.
