The beginning of spreading signs of grief around the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The staff of the Holy Shrine Care Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began spreading signs of sadness throughout the corridors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in order to welcome the month of sorrows and the memory of the martyrdom of the beloved grandson of the Noble Prophet; Abu Abdullah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and his family and his Companions (peace be upon them).

Signs of grief, such as condolence banners, were sewn, embroidered, and shaped in the sewing division of the Gifts and Vows Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, after all the necessary measurements were taken for the entire area of the Sanctuary.

The assistant head of the department, Mr. Zain Al-Abidin Al-Quraishi, told Al-Kafeel Network, “The staff of our department and those who help them from the rest of the departments of the Holy Shrine, have started since last night to hang the banners of Ashura’s grief and solace, inspired from the words of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him): "When the month of Muharram’s Moon appears, angels will open up the al-Hussayn’s bloody shirt in heavens, while it is torn by the strike of the swords, and simmered in blood. So we and our followers can see it, not by the eyes of our heads, but by the eyes of our hearts, therefore our eyes burst into tears."

He added: "The works are carried out according to a special plan and according to the location of each piece without affecting any part it is attached to, because it is installed by a special adhesive that is easy to remove later. These works are completed before the first night of Muharram."
