The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Vehicles Department has allocated a number of busses to transport final exams students from their areas of residence to the exam centers, in order to support them in this period and relieve their burdens.
The head of the department, Engineer Abd al-Jawad Kadhem Abbas, told Al-Kafeel Network: "Based on the direction of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, we have started to transfer middle school students (students for final exams), from their areas of residence or from a point close to them, where a number of busses with a capacity of (24) passengers has been allocated to them."
He added, "An agreement was reached with parents, school administrations, as well as the examination centers and informed them of this plan. And it was agreed on accessible places for the department's busses to take them back and forth. We have started this work from the first day of the exams and we will continue until their completion."
Abd al-jawad confirmed that: "The conditions of public health and safety were observed, as each vehicle has a limited number of students on it to achieve the principle of social distancing, in addition to the students' commitment to wearing a mask, as well as sterilizing the busses before and after the transfer."
The students and their parents expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for this initiative, which contributed to alleviating their burdens and their arrival at the exam center in a timely manner, as well as their return home at an appropriate time also away from road traffic and high temperatures.
