The Religious Affairs Department begins its plan for the month of Muharram.

The Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has started implementing the details of its informative, educational and guiding plan for the holy month of Muharram, which is held in presence or online following the health controls and conditions.
The deputy head of the department, Sheikh Adel Al-Wakeel, stated to Al-Kafeel Network, that: “The department, for the second year in a row, is starting to implement this plan in this manner, as a result of the repercussions of the Corona epidemic. A work plan has been developed for this month, which is considered one of the most important preaching months, in a way that contributes to shedding light on the renaissance of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), its goals and spiritual dimensions and what it achieved for all of humanity."
He added, "Our in-presence preaching activity included holding lectures inside the Holy Shrine, in addition to answering visitors' questions and inquiries. There were also external activities for a number of the department's sheikhs, including reviving the Hussayni mourning councils inside and outside Karbala."
He continued: "As for the electronic activity, it was also diverse and included programs, lectures, meetings, and interventions that centered on the cause and renaissance of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on social media platforms, direct broadcast windows, and satellite and radio channels."
