The work of the Department of Hussayni Rites, Processions and Bodies of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) is primarily organizational and coordinating, in a manner that ensures the provision of the best services to visitors who intend to visit the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
The head of the department, Haj Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman, told Al-Kafeel Network, "At the beginning of each Ziyarat season, especially the Ziyarat of the 10th of Muharram, which is special to the people of Karbala and its processions, there will be a coordination meeting with the owners of the processions and the Hussayni bodies, resulting in a road map aimed at providing better services to the visitors."
He added: "With the expansion in the number of visitors, this year, in prior agreement with the owners of the Hussayni service processions, some places in which they provide their services were changed, to create more space for the movement of visitors and absorb their momentum, because the visitor's goal is to perform the Ziyarat rituals with ease."
