Providing service processions and visitors with thousands of ice blocks daily.

The administration of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine ice factory confirmed that a large part of its production is allocated to the Hussayni service processions, which are honored to provide services to visitors during the days of Ashura, through the Watering Division of the Service Affairs Department and the Department of Hussayni Rites, Processions and bodies according to the prepared plan for this purpose, contributing to filling the processions need.

The director of the plant, Engineer Feras, told Al-Kafeel Network, “The plant doubled its production capacity during this period and the previous period, to reach its peak during these days. This is due to the increased demand for ice, coinciding with the rise in temperatures, so it is used to cool water and juices offered to visitors, or to store foodstuffs brought by procession owners for the purpose of distribution to visitors.”

He added: "In addition to the processions, there are parties that benefit from this material, such as the holy courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the service complexes of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, its external and internal locations, and the security forces. More than 3000 ice blocks are distributed daily."
