Timeless Feelings.

The most amazing feeling that a person experiences on the day and night of the tenth of Muharram, is not being aware of time, so we forget that the battle took place a thousand and four hundred years ago.

Although everyone is sure that everything is over, and that al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) was martyred in the sixty-first year of the Hijrah, but in the depths of the soul there is something mysterious, confirming to this human tide that the battle has not yet taken place, and that Al-Hussayn will fight on the tenth, he will advance towards the army thirsty, while being in pain for the loss of his companions, a stranger who has no helper. The mourners live moments of affliction as if they are witnessing when Shimr knelt on Imam al-Hussayn's chest and slaughtered his holy head, and tents were burnt and night fell on the children and women of the family of the Messenger of God (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and they had no helper except for Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him).

It is as if these crowds are trying to catch up with him, without believing that he is being cut with swords, and that Al-Aqeelah Zaynab (peace be upon her) went captive.

And the strangest thing is that this feeling will accompany us until the next Muharram, and the one after it until we die.

Peace be upon the one who changed the course of history with his stance that honored time.
