The association of al-Zahra (peace be upon her) present an art work to embody the tragedy of the tenth of Muharram.

In collaboration with the Department of Rituals and Hussayni processions in the two holy shrines, the association of al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in the Diwaniyah province held a representative scene of what happened in the desert of Karbala on the tenth of Muharram, with special scenes that recall to minds the atrocities that happened to Imam al-Hussayn, his family and companions (peace be upon them), in one of the squares located on the road Najaf - Karbala.

Haj Hadi 'Atshan Simran; head of the service association of al-Zahra (peace be upon her), talked about this artistic work to Al-Kafeel Network, stating: "For the third year, the association of al-Zahra (peace be upon her) prepared the artistic work to represent the tragedy of al-Taf on the holy land of Karbala during the holy month of Muharram and which embodies the tragedy and atrocities lived by Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his companions and what happened to them on the tenth of Muharram in the year 61 AH."

"The work's preparation has been ongoing for a considerable period of time after taking the fundamentalist approvals from the province of Karbala and the Hussayni processions Department of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), starting from equipping the tents to the metalwork and training cadres."

He also added: "The number of the actors to play the Umayad army is of 1200 persons, and 72 actors, to play the roles of the supporters of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), in addition to a group of women and children."

Regarding the texts preparations, he indicated: "The prepared texts were revised by a group of scholars and researchers in the city of Najaf."
