The Hussayni condolence processions are flocking to the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to commemorate the sad occasion for the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them); the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him).
These processions are used to start from the road of Qiblah of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to enter to his holy shrine then march in the middle of the crowds of believers in the area between the two holy shrine down to the shrine of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) where condolence Majlis (Lamentation) are held, to chant poems that show the great injustice to which Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) was subjected in the tragedy of at-Taf and what follows it of difficulties in the convoy of the captivity.
On the other hand, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has concluded all preparations to receive the condolence processions, and organize their march’s path to avoid any crowding or congestion.
it is worth mentioning that the martyrdom of Imam Zayn al-'Abideen as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) was on the twenty-fifth of the sacred month of Muharram 94 AH, after that Al-Waleed Ibn Abd al-Malik has sent a killing poison from Levant to his governor in Madinah and has ordered him to put it in the food of the Imam (peace be upon him). Al-Waleed governor has executed the orders and poisoned and killed the Imam (peace be upon him), whose light had enlightened this world and filled with his knowledge, worship, forbearance and piety.
