The flag of the Hussayni generosity is raised to mark the beginning of the Arba'een season.

This Wednesday afternoon, and for the fourteenth consecutive year, the ceremony of hoisting the flag of the Hussayni generosity was held in the external host complex of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, located on the (Najaf - Karbala) road, marking the start of providing services to visitors.

The member of the Board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Jawad al-Hasnawi, said: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine used to hold flag-raising ceremonies every year in its external host complex, marking the beginning of the provision of services to visitors crossing the (Najaf - Karbala) road, as this host complex is one of the important stations that visitors pass through."

For his part, the official of the host complex, Mr. Kadhem Taher Al-Mousawi, said: "The host complex provides its services to visitors throughout the year, but during the Arba'een season, the efforts and services provided are doubled, due to the influx of millions of visitors flocking to Karbala, specifically from this road (Najaf-Karbala Road)."

Al-Mousawi added: "From the 1st to 20th Safar, the host complex provides integrated services, in terms of food, drink and accommodation, in addition to health services," noting that: "The host complex is divided into two parts, one for men and the other for women."

It is to note that the flag is raised on a pole of 40 meters height, and the flag is measuring (13 x 17 meters).
