Deploying a number of identification centers for children and the people with special need coming to perform the Ziyarat Arba'een.

Within the framework of the service plan set by the Stores' Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the visitors of the Arba'een, is to establish a number of identification centers for the children, the elderly and people with special needs on the main roads leading to the holy city of Karbala and in the city center, in order to facilitate their identification in case they get lost.

The assistant head of the department, Mr. Abdul-Ghani Mahdi Sajet, told Al-Kafeel Network: "The work of these centers is complementary to the work of the lost guidance centers, as we work within one committee which goal is to introduce the visitor, whether he is a child or a disabled person, or even ordinary people who are afraid of being lost during the Ziyarat period. This will make it easier to find them by their families or to take information about them by the centers of the lost."

He added: "Since its establishment in 2010, these centers have been able to provide their services to thousands of visitors, and the principle of their work is that each center is managed by a number of staff who provide the identification mark for the person wishing to do so, which is an identification bracelet with (the name, housing and phone number of the father or the companion) and placed in the hands of the visitor (the child. The elderly), and in the past the work was done by means of a badge attached to the neck.

Sajit said: "More than a quarter of a million bracelets have been printed and prepared, in addition to preparing a cadre of more than (200) people from within our department and from volunteers, who have experience in entering the required data."

It is noteworthy that this service has been well received and praised by visitors in previous seasons, and they have expressed their thanks and gratitude to its organizers.
