Starting the second phase of the project to clean the roads of visitors.

The team of the project to clean visitors’ roads, started the second phase, from (Ya Hussayn) Road, the Najaf axis towards Karbala. This phase included a field presence to contribute to the cleanliness of the road and the removal of waste.

The project supervisor, Sheikh Hussein al-Turabi, told Al-Kafeel Network: “This stage is considered one of the important stages in the project, which came according to the directives of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine and within its service plan of Ziyarat Arba'een, as cleanliness is of great importance, which reflects the identity of civilization.”

He added: "The team included the staff of the Qamar Center for Digital Media, the Heritage Institute of the Prophets (peace be upon them) for electronic Hawza studies and Umm al-Baneen University (peace be upon her), affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. This team was divided in to groups that were deployed on the (Ya Hussayn) road, and started campaigns of cleaning, awareness and guidance within a schedule prepared for this purpose."

It is noteworthy that the Institute of the Heritage of the Prophets (peace be upon them), affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, for the fourth year in a row, distributed tons of waste bags, brooms and wipers, to the Hussayni processions spread on the roads leading to the Holy Karbala, from three axes: (Baghdad-Karbala / Babylon-Karbala / Najaf-Karbala), in order to contribute to serving the visitors and maintaining public cleanliness, within its cleanliness project.
