Al-Kafeel Center for Information and Statistical Studies organizes a symposium on the statistics of Ziyarat Arba'een.

The al-Kafeel Center for Information and Statistical Studies of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine Media Department organized an expanded symposium on the statistics of Ziyarat Arba’een, in the presence of representatives from the relevant state departments, in addition to representatives from the departments of the Holy Shrine.

The director of the aforementioned center, Mr. Karrar Sahib al-Kinani, told Al-Kafeel Network, "This symposium came to enhance the importance of applying modern statistical methods and mechanisms, and to prepare a statistical summary for the Ziyarat Arba'een according to the statistical variables of the previous seasons, and to compare them because they constitute an important factor to address any defect that occurs, according to a modern scientific vision. The center will work on this in cooperation with the relevant government agencies and the departments of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which are in direct contact with the services provided to visitors."

Al-Kinani stated: "In this symposium, a number of visions and ideas were presented and discussed, all of which focused on using the principle of the statistical inferential method, and how to address previous failures and reach appropriate solutions. This method is the basis for the work of every plan and service provided to visitors."

In the same context, Dr. Fadhel al-Rubay'i, Director of the Department of Medical Services and Operations at the Ministry of Health, explained that: “Statistics in the world are very influential in preparing future plans to carry out any work, so the importance of this topic for the Ziyarat Arba'een is extremely important. The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has come a long way in this field, and it has a statistical database of visitors and the services provided to them, in addition to possessing modern and advanced devices to count the number of visitors. And by relying on them we can build future plans for this Ziyarat and the services provided in it according to the type of each service.”
