Organizational and service efforts made by the Sanctuary’s care staff during Ziyarat Arba’een.

The staff of the Holy Shrine Care Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are making great efforts before and during the Ziyarat Arba'een, in order to make the ceremonies of this Ziyarat a success in terms of the movement of visitors and the performance of their worship.

The assistant head of the aforementioned department, Mr. Zain al-Abidin Adnan al-Quraishi, said: "In the major Ziyarats, we intensify our efforts in the work entrusted to us, as our staff carried out the work of cleaning the floor and carpets, in addition to preparing sterilization devices, as well as fumigation and perfumery for the holy courtyard. Our staff also provided large numbers of Ziyarat books and holy Turbah."

He added: "One of the tasks entrusted to us is to contribute to the organization of the visitors' movement, to achieve smoothness in the process of their entry and exit to and from the holy courtyard, as is the case in the women's sector as well."

Al-Quraishi said: "We have prepared a number of electric transport vehicles, which work is divided into two parts. The first is for emergency cases, and this is done in coordination with the Medical Affairs Division at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. And the second is the transport of foodstuffs to the service processions of the Holy Shrine in the external axes.

The assistant head of the Holy Shrine Care Department explained, "We brought in (750) volunteers with experience in dealing with visitors in such an important event, and most of them received practical training on Thursday nights, which witness a great human momentum throughout the year."
