A mobile medical detachment was opened at the vicinity of the service procession of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, by the al-Ameed University of the Education and Higher Education Authority in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, and it is part of the medical preparations for the Ziyarat Arba'een.
The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Alaa l-Mousawi, said: “Our university always seeks to provide the best services to visitors, whether through the procession of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) that it embraces or by providing assistance and help to everyone who provides a service to visitors, including medical services including this detachment, which will be reinforcing the medical measures that have been taken for visitors on the (Najaf-Karbala) road.”
For his part, Mr Hussam Samir, a member of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society’s medical delegation, added, “The society, in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Kuwait Red Crescent, has prepared this medical mobile detachment, which contains various medical devices and equipment, including the monitor, sonar, various analyzers and blood pressure measuring devices. ".
He concluded: "The mobile detachment also includes a set of treatments and medicines needed by visitors and people with chronic diseases, to provide them with the necessary medical and health care with the support of the State of Kuwait, and under the supervision of specialists from the Ministry of Health and the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, and professors of the College of Nursing at Al-Ameed University."
