The women's medical detachment in the external host complex of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas provides an integrated health service.

The Women medical unit of as-Siddiqah at-Tahirah (peace be upon her) of the Medical Affairs Division at the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, began opening a number of women medical detachments to provide treatment, medical and counselling services to the visitors during the Arba'een. And among these detachments is the one at the external host complex of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) located on the road to Najaf al-Ashraf.

The unit's official, Mrs. Bushra al-Kinani, told Al-Kafeel Network: "Based on the medical plan developed by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the Ziyarat Arba'een, the unit took care of the health aspect of visiting women, and because they were the majority on this Ziyarat, the equipment were prepared so we get gain the honor of serving them in line with the current health situation. And the medical detachment of the external host was one of the first to operate during this season.”

She added: "The detachment was important because this service complex includes a group of integrated services, and has become a stop for most visitors passing through this axis. Therefore, the medical detachment was able to provide the medical services by the qualified women staff, who are working around the clock, as they receive any case to give it the necessary treatment and evacuate those needing to be sent to hospital after performing the first aid to them."
