The staff of al-‘Alqami Service Complex works day and night to serve the visitors of Arba’een.

The al-'Alqami Service Complex of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to provide its various services to the visitors during the Ziyarat Arba'een on the (Babylon - Karbala) axis, intending to visit the Master of the Martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

The official of the aforementioned complex, Ali Ni'mah al-Khafaji, said: “Al-'Alqami Service Complex offers its various services to its visitors each year, starting from the twelfth day of the month of Safar. The complex’s staff are distributing 15,000 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), as well as other night meals, as a daily average of meals, and this increases as we approach the day of Arba'een.”

He added, "Our services are not limited to distributing meals, but there is a large medical center that provides various medical services for women and men, in cooperation with the Diwaniyah Health Directorate, and there are two centers, one to guide the lost and the other to introduce children, the elderly and people with special needs."

Al-Khafaji continued: "The awareness and technical aspect has a space in this service complex, where there are stations for religious guidance and Fatwas, in addition to stations to teach the correct reading of the Holy Qur'an. There is also an art exhibition of the Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad, which showcases the championships of the fighters of Sacred Defense Fatwa.".

The complex official explained, "The complex has many resting stations and places to perform prayers divided into two sections, one for men and the other for women, in addition to bathrooms," noting that "the procession works 24 hours a day to serve visitors until the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een."
