Al-Abbas’s (p) Fighting Squad announces the success of its security and service plan.

The leadership of the Al-Abbas Fighting Squad announced the success of its security and service plan for the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn, peace be upon him, for this year 1443.

"Our hands have been honored to touch more than 10 million visitors during the performance of our forces' duty to secure the Ziyarat," said Al-Abbas Fighting Squad commander Sheikh Maytham al-Zaidi.

He stressed that "the mobilization of the holy shrines will remain a father to all through its service to the homeland, the citizens and the honorable visitors," noting that the next front will be towards Najaf to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Noble Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

Al-Zaidi revealed that "the slogan of the mobilization of the holy shrines was officially raised during this Ziyarat, and its presence is legitimate and legal. It is legitimate by belonging to the holy shrines, and legal by its association and support of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces"

"The commander of the al-Abbas fighting Squad reiterated his thanks to the Supreme Religious Authority, without which Iraq would not have preserved its existence and independence."

Al-Zaidi continued, "We, as the Al-Abbas Fighting Squad, extend our special thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) shrine represented by its Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, the Secretary-General, the brothers in the board of directors, heads of departments, and all the servants of the shrine, without whom, the al-Abbas Squad would not have been able to continue.

It is reported that "Al-Abbas Fighting Squad has concluded its service after participating in its annual central procession to commemorate the Ziyarat Arba'een, and the funeral - the central procession - was held in Holy Karbala, with the participation of the Squad's leadership, officials, fighters, and a large gathering of lovers."
