Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: Warith International Foundation for Oncology is a pioneering humanitarian project.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Engineer Mohammad al-Ashigar, affirmed that the Warith International Foundation for Oncology project is a humanitarian and pioneering project, which provides distinguished humanitarian services to the Iraqi citizen, and stems from a high sense of responsibility on the part of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine and its Senior Official towards this country, which suffers from a lack of centers and institutions that provide such services to those afflicted with this serious disease.
A delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, headed by him and with a number of members of its board of directors and heads of its departments, was conducted to this project in order to congratulate the staff working in this institution, and to see the services provided in it.
Al-Ashigar added: “This institution is a source of pride, as it has advanced equipment, in addition to a modern infrastructure in harmony with a staff that works diligently and sincerely, all of which is harnessed in the service of every patient with this disease, and that the management of the institution is working hard to be at the forefront of leading hospitals in the region to provide the best services in accordance with the latest international standards and specifications, and there is no doubt that it will contribute to alleviating their burdens. So all thanks to the workers in this institution and we pray for their success in this service."
The delegation conducted an extensive tour of all the corridors and departments of the hospital, they were accompanied on this tour by the official of the Health and Medical Education Authority at the Holy Shrine, Dr. Sattar al-Saadi, who expressed his happiness with this visit, considering it part of the cooperation between the two holy shrines, in addition to that it will encourage and motivate the workers to provide the best.
