The project of Al-Ameed Educational Group Schools Complex is ready to receive its students.

The Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced that the educational complex of the Al-Ameed Educational Group is ready to receive female learners for the new school year 2021-2022, after it was officially handed over by the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the supervisor of its implementation.

The complex is located on the (Karbala - Hur) road with an area of ​​(45,000 m2). It consists of five schools, the area of each school is 6,000 square meters, with very high capacity; as it consists of three floors. It also includes two kindergartens on three floors with an area of ​​(900) square meters, as well as two sports halls of (900) square meters each, which will also be invested for entertainment, and to support schools and kindergartens' activities. In addition to a cultural center that is the most prominent feature in it, as it consists of five floors with an area of ​​(15) thousand square meters, in addition to green spaces.

The Head of the Department of Education and Higher Education (Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sabih al-Kaabi) told Al-Kafeel Network: “This project, which is dedicated to female learners, comes as a complement to the series of projects adopted by the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine that contribute to prepare integrated infrastructure providing a scientific service through modern teaching mechanisms and methods that help crystallize and build a personality far from the external influences that have begun to afflict Iraqi society, and help to fortify it scientifically and educationally according to Islamic principles."

He added: "The complex has provided an infrastructure that will contribute to achieving leadership for the Al-Ameed Educational Group that will be a qualitative and quantitative addition to the educational reality in Iraq in general and in the holy city of Karbala in particular. And there is another project that will be completed later and will be allocated to learners.”

In the same context, the head of the Engineering Projects Department, the engineer (Dea’ Majeed al-Sa'egh), stressed that “the project is one of the projects that will surpass its international peers in some aspects in terms of design and implementation. It will make a qualitative leap in terms of design, construction and implementation."

He continued: "we have provided in the implementation of this project, two conditions for the success of strategic plans are the school environment and infrastructure. The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has given great interest to this project, because of its significant role in contributing to the upgrading of the education's movement in the province of Karbala.

Al-Sa'egh concluded by saying: "The project is integrated and developed, and was established with very modern designs that met the aspirations of parents and children. It included infrastructure, public gardens, and large areas for students, in addition to laboratories, restaurants, and yards for each school and kindergarten, including large and covered stadiums and other matter that the student needs."
