More than 50 mist fans are installed in the surroundings of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine seeks to improve the services provided to those who intend to visit the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to perform the Ziyarat rituals in an atmosphere of tranquility and spirituality.

Among these services are the installation of a number of sprinklers and water mist columns that contribute to reducing temperatures, which are reaching record levels. This system was used because it is the most appropriate and best way to air-conditioning in open spaces.

There are 55 fans that were installed in areas that witness a high concentration of visitors, such as the area between the Two Holy Shrines, Al-'Alqami Street and Bab Baghdad Streets.

The fans operate at a pressure of (120 bar), and are equipped with a special water pump to strengthen the supply of water to the fans between every (280) meters, as the distances used and the spacing between these fans are at a rate of (7 meters). (50) Inspection stations were installed for the wiring and maintenance of the water supply pipes (RO), in addition to the use of (1050) meters of electrical wires and water hoses to operate the fans in an optimal way.

The fans operate at full power every day with high temperatures, and there is a specialized technical team tasked with supervising their maintenance.
