The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is decorated for the birth anniversaries of the Chosen Prophet and his grandson As-Sadeq (Allah's prayers be upon both of them).

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was beautifully decorated to celebrate the auspicious birth anniversaries of the Master of creatures and Apostles; the Prophet of mercy and humanity Mohammad son of Abdillah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him), one of the great event celebrated by the believers around the world.

The relevant departments in the holy shrine have decorated the holy sanctuary to reflect the celebrations of this blessing birthday, hanging banners on which were written phrases showing his greatness (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), also garlands of roes were hung in the entrances and exit of the holy shrine, as well as a painting made by natural flowers writing "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds." (21:107) and colored lamps were lighted to reflect the festive atmosphere of this holy birth and to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) coming to the holy city of Karbala to celebrate this auspicious birth anniversaries."

On the other hand, the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have prepared a special festive program to celebrate this occasion in line with its place in the heart of the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It is worth mentioning that the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) was born on the seventeenth of Rabi' Awwal in the elephant year.
