At Al-Kafeel Hospital: Surgery on the face of a twenty-year-old

A medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine managed to treat the face of a young man in his twenties through an orthodontic operation to restore the upper jaw.
The specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the hospital, Dr. Radwan al-Ta'ei, said: "The face of a young man in his twenties was restored to its normal shape, and was able to breathe better after the orthodontic operation we conducted for him, to restore his upper jaw, which medical tests showed that he is atrophied and deviated from the lower jaw, which caused him functional problems and an abnormal shape.”
Al-Ta'ei pointed out that: "The operation used modern surgical tools that were recently imported to Iraq, and they helped in re-straightening the patient's upper jaw, and adjusting his nasal septum without complicated wounds, and this is what distinguishes it from others."
The maxillofacial surgeon confirmed: "The young man (Mohammed) did not have any complications during and after the operation, and he left the hospital after two days."
