Al-Ameed University hosts the ministerial committee tasked with determining the absorptive capacity

A delegation from the Ministerial Committee in charge of determining the absorptive capacity of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited Al-Ameed University of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, to conduct a special inspection of the faculties' infrastructure and to meet with the teaching staff, to determine the absorptive capacity ratios for all academic seats in each faculty, in preparation for receiving students applying for the new academic year (2021-2022).
They were received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Moayyed al-Ghazali, the Assistant President of the University. The delegation was briefed on the preparations and completed work to receive the new students.
The ministerial delegation toured the buildings of the faculties of Al-Ameed University, and met with the deans, their assistants and teaching staff, to determine its absorption capacity of new students for the first stage, after submitting its final report to the Ministry, to determine those percentages according to data and field statements.
At the end of the tour, the committee confirmed that the university had clearly worked on developing medical laboratories and classrooms in terms of laboratory equipment, as well as increasing the spaces in the corridors and university halls within the expansion plan conducted by Al-Ameed University.
The Ministerial Committee also commended the well-studied scientific plans prepared by the university, which came in line with the students' need and the increasing number of advanced students to study in its faculties.
For its part, the university presidency thanked and appreciated the effort of the ministerial committee and its great keenness to visit the university, in order to ensure the stability of the academic and scientific study process at the university, and stressed the continuation of work to develop the university and make it among the first universities in Iraq.
