Karbala Education Directorate: There is a great effort made by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to support the educational aspect

The Director-General of Education Directorate in the Karbala Governorate, Mr. Abbas Odeh al-Sultani, confirmed that: "The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is making a great effort to support the educational reality in the governorate in particular and Iraq in general, and it has devoted a large part of its attention to this vital and important sector, believing that the development and advancement of this country begins with it.”

This came during a visit by a delegation from the University and School Relations Division at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to the Directorate of Education in Karbala Governorate, in order to discuss the establishment and implementation of a number of activities and events, whether for students or teaching staff, coinciding with the start of the new academic year.

Al-Sultani also added: "There is high coordination between our directorate and the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in many fields, and the educational field is at their forefront. There is also a joint cooperation based on the great view of His Eminence, the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine, Sayed al-Safi, who gives great attention to education and everything that contributes to its development and advancement”

He explained that: "This cooperation and coordination has resulted in the establishment of multiple projects, activities and events, all of which revolve in the space of advancing the wheel of education forward, as the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is one of the most important supporting and supportive bodies, and it has spared no effort but contributed to it."
